Frosted AirAs I stepped out into the night I pulled my coat tighter around my body in an attempt to keep out the cold wafts of air. I exhaled slowly, watching my breath billow up in front of me in a frosty cloud. I watched as the cloud dispersed and dissipated slowly, the beads of liquid separating as they lifted into the cold air. I inhaled again and the icy air stung my mouth and throat, causing me to choke slightly and my coughs also became cold clouds of white and ascended to the stars in the dark, moonless sky. Frosted Air

The Final Choice I don't think I'd ever been more afraid. My friend hadn't shown up at school that day. We'd talked the day before and he'd confirmed all my suspicions. So, without him knowing, I slipped a piece of paper into his pocket, knowing he'd find it later on. The paper read: "If you ever need to talk just give me a call. I always have my cell phone on me". No Cuts I held the belt tightly strapped around my neck, the latch nearing the last hole. I hadn't breathed for almost two minutes, my head pounded as my lungs screamed for air. I could feel myself fading in and out of conciousness. The edges of my vision grayed out, my mirror showed the pinpoints in my eyes, then... I released. I stumbled to my bed and buried my face in my pillows, trying to muffle my desperate gasping. I threw the belt to the floor, terrified that someone might see me. I'm back... Sort of....

Yeah, sorry it's taken me so long to post once again. I have no excuse. I'll just fill you in on a bit of the things happening in my life...

My grandmother recently passed away from a massive heart attack and I'm not quite back on track. I have a few things that I've written or drawn during the time between her death and her funeral and I'll be uploading them whenever I feel that I can. You can look forward to those.

Also, my school musical just ended. We finished our final performance tonight about an hour ago. Although the dress rehersal was a little rocky, everyone pulled it together in the end and we rocked the house! ^^ The musical was Oh, Horrors! It's Murder! and I played Elena Newman, the murderer of the story. I'm really upset that it's over... I would play Elena every night for the rest of my life if someone asked me to. But next year I'll be in the high school and I'll be looking forward to the musicals there. But for now, all I want to do is sleep.
